SIBUR-Fertilzers announces Company name change
The Company’s new name is Open Joint Stock Company “SBU Azot”. Its new legal address is as follows:  Build. 1 Gruzovaya St., Kemerovo, 650021, Russian Federation.

SBU Azot is one of the largest producers of nitrogen fertilizers in Russia. The Company’s plants  manufacture nitrogen products for industrial and agricultural clients, and petrochemicals. The Company is a key player on the domestic nitrogen market and sells its products in over 40 countries worldwide.

The Company’s production and service assets are located in Western and Eastern Siberia and include Kemerovo Azot, Angarsk Nitrogen Fertilizer Plant, Biisk Railcar Repair Plant and AZOT-Service.

On the regional market (Siberia and  the Far East of Russia, Mongolia and Kazakhstan) the Company’s primary product for sale is ammonium nitrate, which is widely used to make explosives for mining companies,  its key consumers. SBU Azot accounts for over 70% of the region’s ammonium nitrate market.

Since 27 December, 2011 Joint Stock Holding Company "Siberian Business Union" owns 100% of the Company's shares. SDS manages diversified assets across various industries, including one of the leading coal mining companies in Russia (SDS Coal).

SBU Azot is one of Russia’s leading fertilizer manufacturers, one of the top five N fertizer producers in the CIS. SBU Azot is No. 1 nitrogen products supplier to the Russian market with a strong presence in the non-fertilizer segment, and a leading supplier of ammonium nitrate to the Russian mining industry.

SBU Azot produces all primary nitrogen fertilizer products for agriculture, N-chemicals for industrial customers, and caprolactam for chemical industry.

SBU Azot's plants are certified to ISO 9001:2000 international quality standard and to the GOST R ISO 9001-2001 Russian standard. All the products are subjected to the obligatory certification and meet industry best standards. Company's enterprises fully comply with ISO 14001:2004 international environmental standard.

Our manufacturing policy focus is to constantly improve the quality of the product, enlarge and diversify our product range, develop and launch into the market new, innovative products meeting all the requirements of consumers to the utmost.

The company strongly invests in its R&D activities and technical re-equipment and modernization of production facilities to secure maximum production capacity and continuous products quality improvement.
